Selling Guidelines
We carefully curate every item on Unicorn to ensure strong auction performance and maintain buyer confidence. The guidelines below outline items we're unable to accept for consignment.
Bottle Value Minimums
Our value guidelines ensure the items we accept align with marketplace demand and can be positioned to achieve the best results for consignors.
Spirits: $30 per bottle
Determined by the bottle's average sales price on Unicorn Auctions over the past 12 months.
Wine: $40 per lot, $20 per bottle
Determined by the bottle's average sales price on Unicorn Auctions over the past 12 months. If the bottle has not been sold on Unicorn, we'll use external market data to determine the bottle's value.

Other Restrictions
Before submitting your items, please review the conditions under which certain items may be modified or excluded.
Minis (50 ml or less)
Miniatures are generally not accepted unless they demonstrate strong resale value or are part of an original boxed set.
Mismatched boxes to bottles
We only include original boxes when they are a confirmed match to the specific bottle. If packaging and labeling do not correspond, the item will be listed without the box.
Bottles with aftermarket stickers
Items with aftermarket stickers covering the manufacturer's label are not accepted. Original labels must be clear and unobstructed for verification.
Brand merchandise
We do not accept brand merchandise for our standard spirit or wine auctions; such items are only considered if they are part of an original gift set or are consigned specifically for a dedicated collectible memorabilia auction.
Pick hang tags
Unverifiable hang tags and 'picks' will be removed from all listings. Rare exceptions for documented distillery-issued tags may be made at management's discretion.
Deceptive labeling
We do not accept items with inaccurate, altered, or deceptive labeling. This includes aftermarket stickers, unofficial hang tags, or any non-distillery markings that may mislead buyers regarding the bottle's original presentation.
BTAC Boxes
BTAC items are listed without their original boxes or accompanying paperwork; these materials will be discarded upon receipt.
Management reserves the right to reject any bottle at their sole discretion.
